Meet Katie

Farm Owner and a visionary in local agriculture

Katie Salsbury grew up surrounded by the beauty of Wyoming and a deep love for the land. Her early years caring for 4-H animals fostered a connection to ranchlands, open spaces, and homegrown traditions. With degrees in Environmental Biology and Rangeland Ecology, Katie blends scientific expertise with a passion for sustainable farming.

After founding two successful businesses, Katie’s latest venture brings a sustainable, hyper-local farm and food shop to Victor, Idaho. She’s reviving Clawson Greens’ legacy with a state-of-the-art Freight Farm, growing fresh greens and herbs year-round with minimal water, waste, and resources.

The Farm

Utilizing a state-of-the-art controlled environment agriculture system called a Freight Farm, we are able to grow year round food. Stepping inside is a lot like stepping into another dimension. Every detail of this baby is monitored, controlled, dialed, and fine tuned to nurture and grow the highest quality food possible. With science and technology on our side, it is an ultra efficient, no-waste way to farm.
